Price Class Without Zone Pricing

Price Classes are used to define a group of one or more service masters with associated service details including activity rates and material pricing. Price Classes allow the user to quickly setup services under a site using the pre defined service details and rates. A Price Class can be used with or without Zone Pricing. This document will take you through the steps to create a Price Class without Zone Pricing.

New Price Classes can be created and used to copy services and pricing to create similar Price Classes with different sizes and rates. Price Classes can be Copied from existing, Added to a new service and set as a Default Price Class through Assign Price Class To Account or manually in Customer Explorer. Price Class Center

  • Sort the grid by any column header.
  • Customer Pricing check mark indicates this is a Default Price Class on one or more customers.
  • Zone Type Drawing Map is a Price Class With Zone Pricing.
  • Blank Zone Type indicates this is a Price Class Without Zone Pricing.
  • Right Click on a Price Class for additional functions: Price Class Details, Assign Price Class to Account or Delete Price Class.

 

Create New Price Class

  1. Click Create New Price Class.
  2. Enter New Price Class Name.
  3. Select Define New Price Class.
  4. Select Service Type for this Price Class.
  5. Select and Enter Service Details.
  6. Click Create New Price Class.
  7. Click New Zone Pricing to enter Activity and Material Rates.
  8. Leave Zone Rates empty if Price Class is not associated with a Zone.
  9. Populate Activity grid with applicable Activities and Rates.
  10. Populate Material grid with applicable Materials, Rates, Min/Max and Constraints.

 

Copy Price Class

  1. Click Create New Price Class.
  2. Enter New Price Class Name.
  3. Select Copy Another Price Class.
  4. Select Price Class to Copy.
  5. Click Create New Price Class.
  6. Recall the copied Price Class from the grid.
  7. Modify Service Details as applicable to this Price Class.
  8. Click Save Changes.
  9. Click No Zone Assigned in blue to modify Activities, Materials and Rates.
  10. Save & Close.

 

Copy Service & Pricing

  1. Recall an existing Price Class from the grid. .
  2. Click Copy Service & Pricing.
  3. Edit Service Details such as Size, Quantity, Billing Cycle, etc...
  4. Click Save Changes.
  5. Click No Zone Assigned in blue and modify Activities, Materials and Rates.
  6. Click Save & Close.

 

Assign Price Class To Account

  1. Right Click on the Price Class to be assigned.
  2. Enter or search & select a Customer/Site to assign the default price class to.
  3. Save.
  4. Customer/Site in Customer Explorer will now contain the selected Default Price Class.

 

Customer Default Price Class

Setting a Default Price Class on a customer will default to the selected price class when a new service is created with a pre-defined price class.

  1. Recall a Customer.
  2. Click the Settings tab.
  3. Select the Default Price Class from the drop down.
  4. Save.
  5. Price Classes with customers set with Default Price Class will include a check-mark in the Customer Pricing Column.

 

  1. Recall Customer & Site.
  2. Select the Default Price Class from the Site>Details>Default Price Class drop down.
  3. Save.

 

Create Service From Price Class

  1. Click Add on the Service level.
  2. Select Use a predefined 'Price Class' to choose the service you would like to be created for this site.
  3. Select the Price Class from the drop down.
  1. Select Start Date.
  2. Service, Activity and Material attributes associated with the Price Class will populate the grids.
  3. Select the Service, Activities and Materials to be included.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Service will be created and Details will be populated with the Price Class selections.

 

Price Class Reports

Price Class Center includes three reports to Validate Current Rates with Price Class. All Active Customers, Active Customers with Different Rates and Acitve Customer with No Zone Pricing.

  1. Click Validate Current Rates with Price Class.
  • All Active Customers: Combines both of the below reports.
  • Active Customer with Different Rates: Includes sites, services and rate combinations that exist in the database where a Zone Rate Pricing combination exists where the Rate is Different.
  • Active Customers with No Zone Pricing: Includes sites, services and rate combinations that exist in the database where No Zone Pricing exists.
